Nils Overdahl is a Principal and Co-CIO at New Century Advisor. Since joining NCA at its founding in 2002, Nils has been responsible for managing real return portfolios. During Nils’ career he has managed and traded most sectors of the fixed income market and greatly added value with his expertise in global inflation and credit. He is an industry thought leader and regular speaker at inflation-related conferences and has appeared on Bloomberg Television, CCTV, and Alhurra TV to discuss the outlook for policy and the global bond markets.

Nils previously worked at Salomon Smith Barney as well as Mellon Bank, where he was part of a team that managed more than $2 billion of taxable fixed income assets. He was also a voting member of the firm’s bond strategy and credit review committees. In addition, he was an early investor in and part of the original management team of Surepayroll.com, Inc., which was acquired by Paychex, Inc. in 2011.

Nils received a B.S. from the University of New Hampshire and a M.B.A. from the University of Chicago’s Graduate School of Business. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and has over 28 years of investment experience.
