Chris Dirkes is New Century Advisors’ head corporate bond analyst and trader. His responsibilities include corporate credit research and trading credit for the entire portfolio management team as well as Treasuries. He monitors liquidity, market risk and flows and uncovering as trading opportunities.  Chris has over eleven years of trading experience. Chris participates in NCA’s weekly equity investment meeting with a focus on industrials. He began his career at Morgan Stanley in an institutional sales role focused on securitized products and corporate credit. He has also worked at CastleOak Securities and Cortview Capital. 

Chris earned a B.A. from Brown University with a concentration in business economics. He is a former professional hockey player and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. He has over 20 years of investment experience.
