Burak Tekes is an Analyst at New Century Advisors with research responsibilities focusing on sovereign and non-U.S. credit, including currencies. He is also responsible for macroeconomic research, modeling, and security valuations of developed and emerging markets. Prior to joining NCA in 2012, Burak was an analyst at Asset Strategy Consultants, an institutional investment consulting firm, where he was responsible for asset allocation modeling and macroeconomic research. Previously, he was a Treasury Analyst for GISAD Foreign Trade Company, a financial services firm in Istanbul, Turkey. 

Burak has an M.S. in finance from the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School and a B.A. in Economics from Bosphorus University in Istanbul, Turkey. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. Burak has over 16 years of investment research experience.
